Mince both the yellow and red onion and put them in a pan on the stove with olive oil. Stir frequently.
Add whiskey and stir frequently. Once the alcohol has evaporated, add your onion powder, garlic powder, salt and beef broth to the onions.
Once the beef broth has evaporated, set it aside until the onions have cooled down completely.
In a bowl, stir sour cream and Greek yogurt together.
Once your onions are completely cool, add them to the bowl with the Greek yogurt, sour cream, and fresh chopped chives.
Once completely mixed, store in your fridge for at least 2 hours and then serve and enjoy.
